PUMA x AC Milan Reveal New Away Kit Nicknamed ‘The Lucky One’

Offering a slight twist on tradition

Offering a slight twist on tradition

After PUMA put a slight skew on the regular Rossoneri stripes for the AC Milan third jersey, the brand has followed suit when it comes to the away kit too. Opting to put a slight twist on tradition, the all-new AC Milan 2019/20 away shirt takes the club’s famous white away base and adds subtle flecks of black and red across the sleeves.

First used as an alternate colour by AC Milan in 1910, the white kit has since been chosen for numerous major finals and has become synonymous with great European victories, earning the nickname ‘The Lucky One.’

The new away kit takes inspiration from the classic design as it remains clean and contemporary, with the only colour reserved for the shoulders in order to retain the club’s DNA; 50% Red, 50% Black, 100% AC Milan.

The new shirt will make its on-pitch debut on July 28 during the club’s US pre-season tour in a fixture vs. S.L. Benfica in Massachusetts.
