To add even more spice to the knockout stages of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2019, Adidas have unveiled the Tricolore 19; an all-new match ball that will make its debut on the pitch tomorrow, the 22nd June 2019.

The newly designed Tricolore 19, an update of the Conext 19 played in the group stages, features a mono-panel aesthetic displaying a blue glitched graphic. The refreshed design is inspired by, and named after, the adidas Tricolore created for the 1998 FIFA World Cup™. It was this year that France last held the competition, with the Host Country also taking the trophy, becoming victors for the first time and on home soil.

The Tricolore 19 will also be seen at the Equal Playing Field Festival of Football in Lyon, where it will be part of an attempt to create the largest football match ever by bringing together aspiring young players from all over the world. As part of the partnership with Equal Playing Field, a non-profit, grassroots initiative challenging gender inequality in sport by providing women and girls around the world opportunities to develop vital football and leadership skills, Tricolore 19 will also be distributed to communities across France to help develop the next generation of FIFA Women’s World Cup champions.

The new Tricolore 19 is exclusively available at adidas.com, in stores and selected retailers from today.
