There may be no Juve, but the gameplay has been revolutionised…

After dropping the first trailer for FIFA 20 in early June, EA Sports has just shared some new gameplay visuals for the highly-anticipated game.

While the first look at FIFA 20 last month revealed the franchise would be returning to the streets in the form of new small-sided mode Volta Football, this second trailer takes a look at how FIFA’s more traditional gameplay has been improved for the new release.

The most exciting change is the rewritten set pieces in FIFA 20, which gives players more control and creativity over how they choose to strike a dead ball. You can now choose how to add curl, dip, or knuckle to free kicks – and a new aiming mechanic gives you more accuracy from the penalty spot.

In the short trailer posted below, key players such as Raheem Sterling, Mohamed Salah and Jadon Sancho can be seen showcasing some of the updated moves and features including the new and improved controlled tackling, enhanced dribbling and composed finishing.

Additionally players can enjoy more control over the decisive moments, along with more dynamic one-on-ones and natural player movements. Improved ball physics will also create more realistic ball movements, bounces and shots. Which means, the ball will now move more naturally in the air or on the ground than in any game before. More authentic spins and bounces create a true-to-life match experience, while previously unseen shot types – like first-time rising shots – become possible in FIFA 20.

So, despite the fightback from Pro Evolution Soccer and eFootball PES 2020 – its looks like FIFA 20 is going to be hard to beat.

The wait is almost over. FIFA 20 arrives for PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch on September 24th.
