No Stylist Episode 04 – Steven Bergwijn

For the latest episode of No Stylist we returned to London, following on from Arsenal’s Joe Willock in Episode 02, to see what the other side of North London are serving up with Tottenham Hotspur and The Netherlands international Steven Bergwijn.

If you don’t already know, No Stylist gives players total control. It’s the ultimate test as we let them loose on a stylist’s rail of clothes to curate and pick out three separate outfits, based on three different themes, to dictate their own shoot.

To put Steven under the spotlight and to make it a level playing field when it comes to the North London report cards, we welcomed back Jay Hines as the dedicated stylist for the day to run his expert eye over Steven’s efforts. On the day, Jay had to submit a final Style Report Card based on key criteria such as sneaker choice, brand knowledge and appropriateness to the theme to give Steven’s fits an official rating.

Since arriving in London half way through the last season, and scoring against Manchester City on his debut, Steven has been adapting to life in London both on and off the pitch. Thankfully, Josh Denzel was on hand to track Steven’s personal and professional progress over the last few months in the capital, unearthing his thoughts about life away from the game, the ever-changing style of Serge Aurier, the French flavours in the Spurs dressing room, the best Amsterdam brands, and why he doesn’t like wearing a suit.
